TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ACTION PLAN
The Town of Atherton initiated the Neighborhood Traffic Management Action Plan to address resident concerns about traffic-related issues throughout the Town. The plan will identify potential traffic management and calming measures and strategies to enhance safety, accessibility, and mobility, and ultimately, the quality of life of Atherton residents.
To date, we have gathered your traffic safety concerns through this project website, survey, map input, email correspondence, and 2 concern Listening Sessions (held on August 6 and 13, 2020).
We have developed potential mitigation measures to address various concerns and are seeking feedback regarding the same. Please visit the

POTENTIAL MITIGATION MEASURES
The project team has developed a list of potential mitigation measures based on community inputs and existing conditions (Average Daily Traffic, 85th Percentile Speed, Intersection Congestion Level, and Collision History). These measures include engineering solutions to improve safety for all mode users, implement traffic calming on residential neighborhoods and school zones, and enhance the quality of life for the Town of Atherton. AGGREGATED RESULTS OF COMMUNITY INPUT
The following charts display a brief summary of aggregated results of community input received through Emails, Survey, Map Input, Listening Sessions (1 & 2), and Website. The inputs were collected between 07/26/2020 and 10/01/2020. The consolidated comments can be viewed in the Download section.
The first phase survey and map input have closed on 10/01/2020.
The second phase survey is now open. Please refer to the Potential Measures section while providing your feedback. You may take the survey any number of times. If you have additional comments, please provide them through the Stay Connected section.
